We've made a round of improvements to the Shift Tasks calendar based on how teams are actually using it.
Smarter Notifications
Notifications for task updates and comments are now much more targeted. If a repeating task is assigned to a role, only employees who are actually scheduled to work that role on that day will receive notifications. No more pings going to staff who aren't even on shift.
Refreshed Task Item Design
Task items have been restyled on both the web and the app to make the details easier to read and act on at a glance.
New Filtering Options
The task list now includes filters so you can quickly find what you need:
- Time: View current, past, or future tasks
- Source: Filter by where the task originated, including Brewery, General Calendar, and Kitchen
